When I was a child I collected stamps. I still have albums full of them and a big tin that needs sorting out. For most of the last decade or two they’ve remained untouched. Recently I was inspired to dig them out and have even made some additions to my collection. As a child I collected all sorts of stamps from around the world but also had a separate huge collection of butterfly stamps. Now the focus of my thematic collection is of course cats.
Whilst all my other stamps hide away in albums I really want to display these. I’ve seen lots of art with stamps but there is no way I could bring myself to cut these up or stick them on anything. I think framing them maybe more appropriate and a great way to show them off.

No, I think only one of them I’ve actually received on mail. Most of them are from far away countries who have much prettier stamps than the UK.
