Hello, it’s Daz here again doing another guest post for Caturday. I thought I’d share some slightly unusual photos of our cats using one of my favourite photographic techniques – “multiple exposures”.
I mostly take photos using film cameras, some of which have special buttons that allow you to take more than one photo on the same piece of film – this leads to some very interesting effects! Along with this, I get my film developed in the “wrong” chemicals which often gives crazy, saturated colours.
If you like my photos, you can see more on my website.
It’s the Olympics and the cats are going for gold!!
I love how different their sleeping positions are!
Apparently today is a day of kissing so I grabbed Arty for some photos :D
Our neighbours have recently got a kitten. She is so adorable. I’m not sure what they call her but we call her Minnie because she’s a mini version of Artemis! She is very bold and often comes into our garden. She loves to play and is getting more confident with our cats. She growled at Arty and he ran away!
The more money you spend on a cat toy, the less they are likely to play with it – or at least that’s how it seems most of time! Maybe that’s why our cats love this so much, because it cost nothing to make!
Daz has been hoarding the tubes from the centre of toilet rolls for weeks so he could create this for the cats. He taped together in a pyramid shape with some electrical tape (as that’s all we had to hand but any tape will do). We put a few biscuits in each of the tubes and left the cats to it, they had such fun. It’s a great way to keep them entertained and it stops them from munching all their food too quickly.
Oscar pays no attention to Da Bird or other cat toys. Scraps of fabric are another matter entirely! He loves them.
Pixie being adorable as usual.
Arty, stressed again.
Happy Caturday everyone!!
It’s lovely and sunny outside so what is Arty doing today? Sleeping of course!! He has a hammock on the end of the bed (the type you put on a radiator) but he likes to sleep under it, especially if we make him a tent out of towels.
As you can see, it’s a tough life.
